Times Network Launches Second General News Channel, Mirror Now

  • Times Network, a part of India’s largest media conglomerate The Times Group, has launched its 2nd English general news channel, Mirror Now.
  • The channel will serve that audience that is seeing growth on account of increased awareness of social-economic issues and rapid digitization.
  • Mirror Now will be a differentiated offering, which will highlight issues that impact our daily lives, crime, women’s safety, traffic woes, health and cleanliness to make India a better place.
  • The channel will be launched on the Magicbricks Now platform, which will ensure the distribution of the channel across all leading cable and satellite networks.
  • MK Anand, MD and CEO Times Network, says that delivering Times Now for last decade has given them a lot of experience and infrastructure, which it can leverage to produce more.
  • As the network caters to 100 million viewers, it was important for them to diversify the channel offering and content.
