Realme’s expansion plans into offline sales in India

The Chinese company ‘Realme’ launched its first phone in India – ‘Realme 1’ earlier this year. Initially, Realme was an online exclusive brand in India.

  • The brand had announced its entry into the offline segment last November. The brand has partnered with Reliance stores for exclusive offline sales of its products.
  • Realme has also partnered with retailers. These retail partners or REAL partners will have all models of Realme smartphones.
  • The brand will begin with 10 cities in January 2019 and, eventually add 50 cities every quarter. By the end of 2019, Realme plans to have 20,000 outlets throughout the country.

The company wants to expand rapidly to meet the consumer demands, and has focused on providing the right consumer experience. The company is growing into the Indian market with the moto of ‘Realme for every Indian’.
