Paytm has introduced the feature of availing cashback in the form of Paytm Gold. The cashback in the form of gold savings can be bought at a denomination of as low as Re 1.
The feature is currently live across 16,000 pin codes.
Customers, who are shopping online, paying utility bills or buying movie/travel tickets, will be able to earn pure gold kept for free in MMTC-PAMP’s 100% secured lockers.
With this move, customers will be able to save gold for long-term wealth creation irrespective of location or income level.
Customers can also redeem gold in the form of products from select jewellers.
Paytm which launched its Digital Gold product in October 2016 as a pilot projecthas already sold 175 kgs of gold across 8,000 pin codes & will soon introduce features for transferring the gold balance to jewellers or gifting the digital Paytm Gold to others over the app.
