Myntra, part of the Flipkart group has launched a social shopping feature in the three days End of Reason Sale.
Myntra expects around 45% increase in its daily gross sales combined of Myntra and Jabong and also four lakhs new customers to log in during the three days sale.
Private labels are expected to make up to 21% of sales on Myntra, while on Jabong it is expected to make up to 7-8% of sales, during the sale season.
Myntra has also reduced its marketing spends by 10% and have used TV commercial channels for promoting the event, apart from the digital channel.
Apart from the focus on private labels and marketing costs, Myntra added 800 Kirana stores on its portal which will help its logistics to handle around 55% of peak sale.
A full-price sale was held in April with an idea to reduce the discounts during the actual season, while End of Reason Sale coincides with the End of Season Sale.
Myntra Shopping will be offering additional 15% discount for another 6 months after the sale season is over.
