Maruti Suzuki partnering with Ola to train 40,000 drivers

  • Maruti Suzuki is tying up with Ola cabs to train 40,000 drivers over the next three years.
  • The company will provide a 30-day training course.
  • Apart from driving lessons, important additional skills like consequences of accidents and car maintenance etc will also be undertaken.
  • This can also address the shortage of fleet drivers.
  • Maruti which runs 370 driving schools across India will look to tie up with other cab aggregators in future to tap into its network of schools and out more than lakh certified drivers every year.
