  • The $1.3-billion Louvre Hotels Group which got acquired by Shanghai-based Jin Jiang International Holdings in 2016, plans to bring in more brands in the mid & budget segment in India.
  • Louvre Group will be using Sarovar Hotels as a vehicle to bring in Campanile & Kyriad in the 3-star budget segment to promote more brands in India.
  • Louvre Group which already has Royal Tulip, Tulip Inn & Golden Tulip with almost 20 properties under these brands, recently acquired a majority stake in the ₹600-crore Sarovar Hotels which has its own brands of Sarovar Premiere, Sarovar Portico & Hometel.
  • Despite almost 60 brands already existing including Sarovar’s own budget brand of Hometel in the 3-star segment in India, enough rooms are expected for more brands in this segment, as their whole idea is to have more brands in 3-star segment.
