If you could make people taste memories you should- Paper Boat

Paper boat has brought the traditional flavour of India to everyone around the world. They have been trying to connect with people through their amazing traditional drinks complimented by unique ads which are sure to take you down memory lane.
  • Paper boat has carved a niche for itself, not just with its products, but soul-stirring films that tug at the heart and transports one back to the innocence of simpler times – childhood.
  • Recently, they gave a tribute to the Indian railways for being such a huge part our childhood days through their film and pictures.
  • Indian railways- one of the country’s greatest, oldest and most majestic institutions, which first taught us that the thrill of travel is in the journey, the destination was incidental.
  • Paper Boat celebrated the legacy of unsung heroes who first stirred the ache of wanderlust in most of us and with whom we have our fondest vacation memories.
  • We also got the opportunity to interview Ms. Joyeeta Patpatia one of the best ad filmmakers from Mumbai who did a short campaign film for Paper Boat- “Hum Honge Kamyab”.
  • When asked about her inspiration behind it she said, “The script and idea came from Lowe Lintas Bangalore and they came to me with a very tight budget. We knew we had to shoot 20 or more people and tell their story in a moving and beautiful way in a very short time. The exciting part was to meet all these people, hear their stories and condense it down to one striking visual and one line. We worked night and day as a team and it was the most fun four days of my career as we travelled across Bangalore and Bombay and went to remote locations to get the right visuals. Hum honge kamyab was the spirit of the whole project!
  • Talking about her experience with Paper Boat Joyeeta said, “It was wonderful. They are a very motivated team and really look for the pulse of the people in our country. It’s always amazing to work with people who teach you something new and take the effort to get on the same wavelength.
Paper Boat, much like the Tagore poem, would send these drinks, these culinary messages to those who have never tasted them before. And of course to those, who long for the days gone by of homemade Aamras, Jaljeera, Kokum, Aampanna, Kala Khatta and many other secret recipes.
