Evan Spiegel led social media company Snapchat Inc. has abled to reach the milestone as the most searched app on iOS App store.
The company provides its user with a new way of messaging and connecting with other socially through “snaps”.
The young company, founded in 2012, went public earlier this month. Last year it posted the loss of $515 million.
Though the stock price of snap was a bit down this week, even then it abled to maintain itself as the most searched app on iOS app store, a media report said.
According to Snapchat, 158 million people use the service each day and create 2.5 billion “snaps” between them.
According to the reports, Instagram is placed second as per users every day after Snapchat while Facebook and YouTube are in the third and fourth spot respectively.
